On June 24, 2025, the Thailand Personal Health AI team, operating under the Program Management Unit for Human Resources & Institutional Development, Research and Innovation (PMU-B), conducted a field visit at Kham Khaen Health Promoting Hospital in Mancha Khiri District, Khon Kaen Province. The purpose was to carry out in-depth, community-level health data collection.

This visit is part of the "Personal Health AI Open Data Platform for Medical Research, Development, and Innovation" project. The project aims to connect, exchange, and develop Artificial Intelligence (AI) models for future comprehensive medical research and services.

Key Activities Included:

  • Collecting health data and information on the health behaviors of the local population.

  • Conducting in-depth interviews to understand the specific health needs and barriers of each target group.

This initiative emphasized participation from the community and local health service units to ensure the data collected is accurate and reflects the real-world context. This will lead to the development of AI models that can genuinely meet the needs of people in different areas.

This project aims to create a prototype of an open health platform that can be utilized for long-term medical research, policy-making, and innovation in Thailand.
